Inspiration to Succeed

While in the US Navy I was trained in electronics and was then put into what was then called AIS (Automated Information Systems). While it was not what I wanted to do, I understood the importance of my job and did it for the duration of my naval career and started to love the job. During my career AIS was transformed in to IS (Information Systems) and then finally IT (Information Technology) which is the term many businesses are familiar with today. During my last tour in the service, I bought a small computer repair service and tried to pull it up off the ground. The problem was that it was in the largest county in West Virginia with the smallest population. The area I was trying to cover just to get my customer base was too large and soon the business folded. I then moved to Glen Burnie, MD to work for NASA at Goddard Space Flight Center. While there, my wife and I decided that we were tired of the East Coast lifestyle and wanted to get back to our traditional roots in the Midwest.

I found a job on the South Side of Chicago, moved my family back to Lake Station to be near the rest of our extended family, but still felt something was missing in my life. One day while at work one of my friends came up to me and asked me to help him with his computer problems. I said sure and while showing him what I was doing he started telling me what he was normally charged by a large national chain. I was outraged by that price. $150 to just install a hard drive! $250 for a house call! Well at that point I sent in for my business and resellers' license and told my family we were going to take on the big chains and charge a fair and reasonable price for our services. So Three Dog Net LLC was born. Today we have techs on board who are willing and waiting for you to bring your PC problems to them. We will even come out to you if needed.
